This old Singer sewing machine is from the 1950's and it belonged to my grandmother. This machine has sewn everything from clothes to quilts to my grandmother's finger!

Yes, you read that correctly; she once accidentally sewed her finger! When I was a little girl she told me the story of "the crazy sewing machine", and when she gave it to me I was a little afraid to use it.

Though today my machines are much more technologically advanced, it is great to have this amazing piece of my own history! And thanks to The Charlton Sewing Center it is back in working condition.
